Given,
BE = CF
(i) In ΔABE and ΔACF,
∠A = ∠A (Common)
∠AEB = ∠AFC (Right angles)
BE = CF (Given)
Therefore, ΔABE ≅ ΔACF by AAS congruence condition.
(ii) Thus, AB = AC by CPCT and therefore ABC is an isosceles triangle.
